What are the hours of operation?

All of our locations are open Monday through Friday from 7am - 6pm. We believe in providing team members with a healthy work-life balance. Enjoy the weekend!

What type of vehicles and repairs does the shop specialize in?

Our shop offers auto repair services and maintenance for every vehicle. Gas or diesel, foreign or domestic, car or truck - no matter the vehicle, we have the expertise and experience to fix it right the first time.

What diagnostic equipment and tools are available?

What truly sets us apart is the CBA Diagnostic Suite—a custom-built, Windows-based diagnostic platform that connects directly to OEM software—paired with OEM pass-through devices for GM, Ford, and Stellantis, the DrewTech CarDaqPlus3 for broader coverage including Honda, Toyota, and Nissan, and advanced aftermarket scan tools like the iScan3 and Autel Maxisys Ultra, all of which give our technicians dealership-level diagnostic and programming capabilities across nearly all makes and models.

Is there an internal training program for team members?

Is this shop location managed by a central office or headquarters?

No, each location is individually owned and operated. This means that while we share a common brand and mission, each shop is run by an independent party.

What in-person training is available?

Team members have the opportunity to attend in-person training events at our Support Center in Houston, TX, as well as regional events held by the Service Development team and trusted vendors.

What type of support is available with difficult or problem repairs/diagnostics?

At Christian Brothers Automotive, you're never left to tackle tough jobs on your own. Our in-house Technical Assistance Center (T.A.C.) is made up of experienced Master L1 techs who are here to walk alongside you when you're working through challenging diagnostics or repairs. Whether it's drivability issues, electrical concerns, or complex system strategies, our role is to guide, support, and help you think through the next steps. We don't just give answers, we work with you so you can build confidence, sharpen your skills, and keep moving forward with clarity.

What is the structure of a team member's pay?

Our shop has several different pay structures depending on the role and skill level. We offer hourly, salary, and flat-rate structures.

Meet the owners

Owned & Operated By Rommel and Janet Barrera

Rommel is native to the Conroe/Woodlands area. He has been in the automotive industry for over 28 years, from complete auto repair to aftermarket sales and installations. Rommel is very passionate about all aspects of the automotive industry, with various achievements and recognitions for automotive, including ASE certification for Service Consultant. Rommel has held various positions in leadership roles and has been a great mentor and coach to others in the industry.

Rommel was drawn to Christian Brothers Automotive because of the beliefs and culture the company represents: Love and treat your neighbor as yourself, provide ethical guidelines for helping the community and serving God. With 9 years at Christian Brothers Automotive, Rommel has been able to impact his community and team members in a positive way.

Rommel enjoys time with his soon-to-be wife, Janet, and their puppy, Missy. Rommel and Janet have been together for 8 years and are planning to get married in August 2024. Time off with his family and friends is a great way to spend Saturdays and attend church on Sunday morning. Rommel also enjoys motocross, and his radio control vehicles are a way to share fun with Missy and Janet.
