What are the hours of operation?
All of our locations are open Monday through Friday from 7am - 6pm. We believe in providing team members with a healthy work-life balance. Enjoy the weekend!
What type of vehicles and repairs does the shop specialize in?
Our shop offers auto repair services and maintenance for every vehicle. Gas or diesel, foreign or domestic, car or truck - no matter the vehicle, we have the expertise and experience to fix it right the first time.
What diagnostic equipment and tools are available?
What truly sets us apart is the CBA Diagnostic Suite—a custom-built, Windows-based diagnostic platform that connects directly to OEM software—paired with OEM pass-through devices for GM, Ford, and Stellantis, the DrewTech CarDaqPlus3 for broader coverage including Honda, Toyota, and Nissan, and advanced aftermarket scan tools like the iScan3 and Autel Maxisys Ultra, all of which give our technicians dealership-level diagnostic and programming capabilities across nearly all makes and models.
Is there an internal training program for team members?

Is this shop location managed by a central office or headquarters?
No, each location is individually owned and operated. This means that while we share a common brand and mission, each shop is run by an independent party.
What in-person training is available?
Team members have the opportunity to attend in-person training events at our Support Center in Houston, TX, as well as regional events held by the Service Development team and trusted vendors.
What type of support is available with difficult or problem repairs/diagnostics?
At Christian Brothers Automotive, you're never left to tackle tough jobs on your own. Our in-house Technical Assistance Center (T.A.C.) is made up of experienced Master L1 techs who are here to walk alongside you when you're working through challenging diagnostics or repairs. Whether it's drivability issues, electrical concerns, or complex system strategies, our role is to guide, support, and help you think through the next steps. We don't just give answers, we work with you so you can build confidence, sharpen your skills, and keep moving forward with clarity.
What is the structure of a team member's pay?
Our shop has several different pay structures depending on the role and skill level. We offer hourly, salary, and flat-rate structures.

Meet the owners

Owned & Operated By Baker and Lindsey Whitten

Hi! My name is Baker, and I am the owner of Christian Brothers Automotive Trussville. I am a native of Homewood, Alabama. My wife, Lindsey, grew up in Columbus, Georgia. We met at Auburn and have been married 16 years. We have 4 amazing children- twin girls named Alice and Bess (11), a daughter, Suzanna (9) and son John (5). We also have an English field cocker spaniel named Hank. For the last 10 years, we have been living in Georgia where we served in full-time ministry with Young Life (a non-denominational outreach to teenagers with the Gospel). We are passionate about doing life in close proximity to the people in our neighborhoods and in our workplaces. This is one of the many factors that led us to Christian Brothers because of its focus on integrity and community outreach. In our shop, we desire to create environments of knowing and serving our community and our employees with kindness and respect. We hope that every person that enters our doors will experience the overwhelming love of God. When we are not in the shop, we love to entertain friends in our home and spend lots of time outside playing and enjoying nature. We love music, food, books, movies, and adventures.
