Meet the owners

Owned & Operated By Gene and Brenda Nardone

Gene and Brenda Nardone began the pursuit of opening a Christian Brothers Automotive repair shop in Winston-Salem in June 2021. Their vision is simple - provide God honoring, comprehensive automotive repair and service to the community of Winston-Salem, NC. Gene has always been involved in mechanics. Whether it was repairing motorcycles or the cars of friends and family, he loves caring for people and working on cars. The Christian Brothers Automotive Robinhood shop is a natural extension of that passion. While working with his hands has always been a big part of Gene’s life, ethical business management has been his career. God blessed him with 28+ years of business management in the insurance/finance industry and now has allowed Gene to combine his interests and skills with his main love - which is living out his Christian faith by caring for his neighbors in Winston-Salem. After working nearly 30 years for large companies, in 2022 Gene and Brenda realized their dream of becoming small business owners.

Gene and Brenda are extremely thankful for their family. They are proud parents of three adult children, love their two sons-in-law and can’t wait to meet their first grandchild who is eagerly expected in March 2023. Their oldest, Lindsey and her husband Gavin live in California, Lauren and her husband Jonathan live in Virginia and their son, Matthew serves in the Coast Guard in Miami, FL. When Gene and Brenda aren’t at the shop or devising plans to see the “kids”, they can be found with their church family at Twin City Bible Church, exploring a dirt path, (either by 4x4, motorcycle, mountain bike or foot), biking around town or enjoying the great attractions of Winston Salem and surrounding areas.

At Christian Brothers Automotive Robinhood, we look forward to serving the Winston Salem community. This service not only includes excellent and ethical automotive repair for their customers, but as an extension, genuinely caring for the community they call home.
