What are the hours of operation?

All of our locations are open Monday through Friday from 7am - 6pm. We believe in providing team members with a healthy work-life balance. Enjoy the weekend!

What type of vehicles and repairs does the shop specialize in?

Our shop offers auto repair services and maintenance for every vehicle. Gas or diesel, foreign or domestic, car or truck - no matter the vehicle, we have the expertise and experience to fix it right the first time.

What diagnostic equipment and tools are available?

What truly sets us apart is the CBA Diagnostic Suite—a custom-built, Windows-based diagnostic platform that connects directly to OEM software—paired with OEM pass-through devices for GM, Ford, and Stellantis, the DrewTech CarDaqPlus3 for broader coverage including Honda, Toyota, and Nissan, and advanced aftermarket scan tools like the iScan3 and Autel Maxisys Ultra, all of which give our technicians dealership-level diagnostic and programming capabilities across nearly all makes and models.

Is there an internal training program for team members?

Is this shop location managed by a central office or headquarters?

No, each location is individually owned and operated. This means that while we share a common brand and mission, each shop is run by an independent party.

What in-person training is available?

Team members have the opportunity to attend in-person training events at our Support Center in Houston, TX, as well as regional events held by the Service Development team and trusted vendors.

What type of support is available with difficult or problem repairs/diagnostics?

At Christian Brothers Automotive, you're never left to tackle tough jobs on your own. Our in-house Technical Assistance Center (T.A.C.) is made up of experienced Master L1 techs who are here to walk alongside you when you're working through challenging diagnostics or repairs. Whether it's drivability issues, electrical concerns, or complex system strategies, our role is to guide, support, and help you think through the next steps. We don't just give answers, we work with you so you can build confidence, sharpen your skills, and keep moving forward with clarity.

What is the structure of a team member's pay?

Our shop has several different pay structures depending on the role and skill level. We offer hourly, salary, and flat-rate structures.

Meet the owners

Owned & Operated By Michael and Shayna Ortman

Hello, we are the Ortman family, Michael, Shayna and our kids Adeline, Natalie, Camille, Cannon, and Gage. I am a native Texan that grew up in the north Fort Worth area and Shayna is a transplant from norther Utah. Shayna and I met at Midwestern State University, where she played volleyball and I played football. We graduated in 2000 and returned back to the metroplex where we began our family. Shay and I celebrated our 25th year wedding anniversary in July of 2025. Our greatest joy has been bringing 5 beautiful children into this world raising them in a faith based, love filled home, centered around Christ. We love traveling, playing sports, and watching movies. We live on a small farm where were raise cattle and chickens.

Shay and I first learned about Christian Brothers Automotive about 5 years ago and over the past year we were finally able to take the leap in opening our own shop. CBA was a place where we could not only practice our faith, but serve our community in a servitude manner while providing an honest and ethical business based on Christian values.
