<p><strong>Job Title:</strong></p><p>Automotive General Service Technician / Mechanic</p><p><strong>Location: &#xa0;</strong></p><p>8431 Homeward Way Sugar Land, TX 77479</p><p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p><p>We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform all maintenance and repair services including but not limited to; oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and more</li><li>Perform state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in accordance with state regulations</li><li>Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively</li><li>Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections</li><li>Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate</li><li>Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know</li><li>Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by Management</li><li>Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions on a guest's vehicle</li><li>Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Current driver’s licenses</li><li>A minimum of 1+&#xa0;years of automotive professional experience is required for this opening.</li><li>Must have experience performing oil changes and general maintenance on vehicles.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Must have a small investment in tools.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds</li><li>Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head</li><li>Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair</li><li>Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools</li><li>Walk/stand for the majority of the workday</li><li>Drive manual transmission vehicles</li><li>Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment</li><li>Efficiently navigate a computer</li></ul>
