<p><strong>Job Title:&#xa0;</strong></p><p>Automotive Apprentice Technician</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>17470 Dodd Boulevard,&#xa0;Lakeville MN 55077</p><p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p><p>As an Automotive Apprentice Technician at Christian Brothers Automotive,&#xa0;you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs under the&#xa0;guidance of a Master Automotive Technician. You will gain confidence,&#xa0;build experience, and the skills required to be a successful&#xa0;Automotive Technician. &#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Work&#xa0;side by side with a certified Automotive Technician and will learn to repair engines, steering and suspension, automotive HVAC systems,&#xa0;and much more</li><li>Build&#xa0;experience and skills as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles</li><li>Perform routine maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, etc.</li><li>Perform honest, clear, and complete multi-point vehicle inspections in service to our guests</li><li>Work as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively</li><li>You will use your skills to get vehicles ready for our customers, ensuring they are safe and reliable</li><li>Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization</li><li>Working together with other technicians you will solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver great results</li></ul>

    <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>A strong motivation to become a Master Automotive Technician</li><li>Attending an Automotive Program or recent graduate preferred</li><li>1-2 years experience at an automotive shop or Quick Lube Operation</li><li>Shows a high level of interest, willingness to learn, and embraces new ideas</li><li>Good communication skills and strong attention to detail</li><li>Self-motivated and exemplifies a positive attitude</li><li>A valid driver’s license</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds</li><li>Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head</li><li>Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair</li><li>Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools</li><li>Walk/stand for the majority of the workday</li><li>Drive manual transmission vehicles</li><li>Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment</li><li>Efficiently navigate a computer</li></ul>
