Meet the owners
Jake and Kara Reedy are thrilled to build an automotive repair facility in the Charleston market that provides this wonderful community with an alternative to the traditional experience at repair shops. They are proud to own and operate Christian Brothers Automotive - Folly Road which focuses on serving their guests in a way that represents loving your neighbor as yourself.
As locals of James Island, Jake and Kara have been so appreciative and blessed by the community and friendships they have been invited into. These relationships coupled with their experiences serving alongside their church helped form the spark to building a shop that exemplifies these same characteristics. It is their daily desire to give customers an experience that exceeds expectations from the moment they walk in the door to beyond the repair. They believe this starts with building an incredible team and caring for them in a way that builds a culture of trust and transparency. Having a team with full hearts will spill out to their guests in the form of great service.
Jake has served the Christian Brothers brand for the last 9 years, beginning as a service advisor and growing into his most recent role of Manager of Franchise Operators at the Christian Brothers Home Office. He credits his growth to strong and passionate leaders pouring into him and he hopes to bring those same principles to his job every day.
Jake and Kara are thrilled to be a part of your community with Christian Brothers Automotive. When they aren’t at the shop, you can find them at the beach, the local parks, or at the sports fields with their kids. They hope to become a household name in Charleston and the surrounding communities and they look forward to blessing their guests with excellent and ethical automotive repair service.
