What are the hours of operation?

All of our locations are open Monday through Friday from 7am - 6pm. We believe in providing team members with a healthy work-life balance. Enjoy the weekend!

What type of vehicles and repairs does the shop specialize in?

Our shop offers auto repair services and maintenance for every vehicle. Gas or diesel, foreign or domestic, car or truck - no matter the vehicle, we have the expertise and experience to fix it right the first time.

What diagnostic equipment and tools are available?

What truly sets us apart is the CBA Diagnostic Suite—a custom-built, Windows-based diagnostic platform that connects directly to OEM software—paired with OEM pass-through devices for GM, Ford, and Stellantis, the DrewTech CarDaqPlus3 for broader coverage including Honda, Toyota, and Nissan, and advanced aftermarket scan tools like the iScan3 and Autel Maxisys Ultra, all of which give our technicians dealership-level diagnostic and programming capabilities across nearly all makes and models.

Is there an internal training program for team members?

Is this shop location managed by a central office or headquarters?

No, each location is individually owned and operated. This means that while we share a common brand and mission, each shop is run by an independent party.

What in-person training is available?

Team members have the opportunity to attend in-person training events at our Support Center in Houston, TX, as well as regional events held by the Service Development team and trusted vendors.

What type of support is available with difficult or problem repairs/diagnostics?

At Christian Brothers Automotive, you're never left to tackle tough jobs on your own. Our in-house Technical Assistance Center (T.A.C.) is made up of experienced Master L1 techs who are here to walk alongside you when you're working through challenging diagnostics or repairs. Whether it's drivability issues, electrical concerns, or complex system strategies, our role is to guide, support, and help you think through the next steps. We don't just give answers, we work with you so you can build confidence, sharpen your skills, and keep moving forward with clarity.

What is the structure of a team member's pay?

Our shop has several different pay structures depending on the role and skill level. We offer hourly, salary, and flat-rate structures.

Owned & Operated By Tom and Amanda Macinnes

We are the MacInnes family—Tom, my wife Amanda, and our kids, Tommy and Becca—and we’re excited to open our second Christian Brothers Automotive location right here in Byron Township, Michigan.

For us, this business is about more than just fixing cars. It’s about serving our neighbors with honesty, integrity, and genuine care—the same Christian values that first drew us to the Christian Brothers Automotive family. We already proudly own and operate the shop on Plainfield Ave in NE Grand Rapids, where we’ve built strong relationships with families throughout the area by delivering transparent auto repair, expert maintenance, and trustworthy service that treats every guest like our own.

Byron Township holds a special place in our hearts. As a vibrant, family-oriented community with hardworking residents and steady growth, it deserves a reliable automotive partner that puts people first. That’s why we’re bringing our second location to Byron Township—to make the "Nice Difference" even more convenient for families in Byron Center, Cutlerville, and the surrounding areas.
