What are the hours of operation?
All of our locations are open Monday through Friday from 7am - 6pm. We believe in providing team members with a healthy work-life balance. Enjoy the weekend!
What type of vehicles and repairs does the shop specialize in?
Our shop offers auto repair services and maintenance for every vehicle. Gas or diesel, foreign or domestic, car or truck - no matter the vehicle, we have the expertise and experience to fix it right the first time.
What diagnostic equipment and tools are available?
What truly sets us apart is the CBA Diagnostic Suite—a custom-built, Windows-based diagnostic platform that connects directly to OEM software—paired with OEM pass-through devices for GM, Ford, and Stellantis, the DrewTech CarDaqPlus3 for broader coverage including Honda, Toyota, and Nissan, and advanced aftermarket scan tools like the iScan3 and Autel Maxisys Ultra, all of which give our technicians dealership-level diagnostic and programming capabilities across nearly all makes and models.
Is there an internal training program for team members?

Yes! We have spent countless hours developing our Learning Management System, The Flywheel, to support team members in their learning journeys. Here's some of what you will find on The Flywheel:

Is this shop location managed by a central office or headquarters?
No, each location is individually owned and operated. This means that while we share a common brand and mission, each shop is run by an independent party.
What in-person training is available?
Team members have the opportunity to attend in-person training events at our Support Center in Houston, TX, as well as regional events held by the Service Development team and trusted vendors.
What type of support is available with difficult or problem repairs/diagnostics?
At Christian Brothers Automotive, you're never left to tackle tough jobs on your own. Our in-house Technical Assistance Center (T.A.C.) is made up of experienced Master L1 techs who are here to walk alongside you when you're working through challenging diagnostics or repairs. Whether it's drivability issues, electrical concerns, or complex system strategies, our role is to guide, support, and help you think through the next steps. We don't just give answers, we work with you so you can build confidence, sharpen your skills, and keep moving forward with clarity.
What is the structure of a team member's pay?
Our shop has several different pay structures depending on the role and skill level. We offer hourly, salary, and flat-rate structures.

Meet the owners

Owned & Operated By Chris and Amy Kerr

We are the Kerr Family! Nicolas, Andrew, Cecilia, Daniel, Amy, and Christopher. Amy and Chris met originally in the late 90's and then by chance ran into each other again in 2006 and their story began. Nicolas (18), Andrew (9), Cecilia (7) and Daniel (3) have been life's greatest blessings. The Kerrs are very much a family that plays together. They love summertime pool activities, hiking at Hocking Hills, crushing the coasters at Cedar Point, Friday pizza night and Amy's Italian side comes out with her red sauce she makes every Sunday.

Amy is also a small business owner, having purchased the company she worked at as a teenager in high school. She wears many hats and stays busy, but her greatest attribute is the time and love she pours into her family. Christopher spent his professional career in the retail automotive franchise world.

During the hard times of 2020, their family was impacted directly. They prayed for God to send an opportunity and He responded almost instantly with the discovery of Christian Brothers Automotive. It has been such a blessing and wonderful journey to venture down this path with such an awesome, ethical, and transparent organization such as Christian Brothers Automotive. The Kerrs can't wait for Christian Brothers Automotive Blendon Woods to be a part of the Gahanna/New Albany/ Columbus area and this journey that God has planned for them.
