At Christian Brothers Automotive - Alpharetta/Milton, you're never left to tackle tough jobs on your own. Our in-house Technical Assistance Center (T.A.C.) is made up of experienced Master L1 techs who are here to walk alongside you when you're working through challenging diagnostics or repairs. Whether it's drivability issues, electrical concerns, or complex system strategies, our role is to guide, support, and help you think through the next steps. We don't just give answers, we work with you so you can build confidence, sharpen your skills, and keep moving forward with clarity. Our team works together to solve problems. Each technician brings their own individual experience to assist. Also, in the Atlanta area, all of our shops work closely together. It's not uncommon for a technician from one shop to call a technician from another shop to get their insight.
Our shop has several different pay structures depending on the role and skill level. We offer hourly, salary, and flat-rate structures with both lucrative individual and team bonuses. We try to tailor the compensation to match the individual's goals and needs.
We have always had central heat in the shop area and we are adding central air conditioning in early 2027.
We provide plenty of informal feedback, especially during the first 6 months of employment. We then have more detailed performance reviews at least once per year. We try to not just focus on performance but also a plan for development. We want to know what your goals are and we want to help you achieve them. In addition, we have weekly business meetings with the entire team to provide and receive feedback on how we are doing.
Hard work and dedication can never be recognized enough. We try to find creative ways to let each individual know that they are appreciated. Sometimes it's publicly calling out an individual for something special they did. Other times, it's through additional compensation, a gift, or time off.
Since we first opened our doors, the cumulative average of flagged hours per technician is 40 hours each. We have had techs who have flagged more than 80 hours a week and others who have intentionally limited themselves to something more like 30 hours per week. As a technician you have goals, we strive to help you meet them.
Most specialty tools are provided. There isn't a minimum tool requirement but that varies based on the skill level and experience of the technician.
